Cookie Policy

Version: 0.1 (draft) · Effective: [TO_CONFIRM] · Last updated: [TO_CONFIRM]

Plain-language summary

When you visit our website at [TO_CONFIRM: domain], we and our partners place small files on your device called cookies (and use similar technologies like local storage and SDK identifiers). Some cookies are strictly necessary to make the site work. Others — for analytics, preferences, and marketing — only run if you say yes.

You decide. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

In our mobile apps, we use similar technologies (SDK identifiers, advertising IDs). The same principle applies: nothing tracks you across apps or for advertising unless you agree.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember things about you — that you're logged in, your language preference, which features you've used. Some cookies expire when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay on your device for a set period (persistent cookies).

We also use local storage, session storage, pixels, and (in our mobile apps) SDK identifiers. We call all of these "cookies" in this policy for simplicity.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies for four purposes:

CategoryWhat we use them forConsent?
Strictly necessaryKeep you signed in, prevent fraud, remember your privacy choices, keep the site secure. No — essential.
Functional / preferenceRemember your language, region, theme, and similar preferences.Yes — opt-in.
Analytics / performanceMeasure how the site is used so we can fix bugs and improve features.Yes — opt-in.
Marketing / advertisingShow relevant content on other sites, measure campaign performance.Yes — opt-in, separately from analytics.

You can accept all, reject all, or pick categories individually. "Reject all" is as easy to find as "Accept all".

3. The specific cookies we use

[TO_CONFIRM: this table needs to match the actual cookies and SDKs deployed at launch. The list below is a template — replace with the real names, providers, purposes, and durations.]

4. Mobile apps — SDKs and identifiers

The mobile apps do not use browser cookies, but they may use:

On iOS, we follow Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules: any tracking that crosses to other companies' apps or sites only runs after you grant permission through the system prompt.

On Android, we honour the Advertising ID opt-out. Our Google Play Data Safety form is kept in sync with this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy.

5. How to manage your cookie choices

5.1 In our cookie banner

The first time you visit the site, a banner appears. You can:

5.2 Change your mind later

Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change your choices at any time. Your new choices apply immediately, and we delete cookies you've withdrawn consent from.

5.3 In your browser

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. The exact path depends on the browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all expose cookie controls under Privacy or Settings.

Note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work — for example, you may not be able to stay signed in.

5.4 In our mobile apps

Open the app, go to Settings → Privacy, and toggle the categories you want on or off.

On iOS, you can also manage tracking permission at Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or opt out of the Advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.

6. Third parties

When you accept analytics or marketing cookies, the providers in the tables above receive information about your visit — for example, your IP address, the page you're on, and the actions you take. They may combine this with information they hold about you from other sites. Each provider has its own privacy policy; you can find links in the consent banner or by writing to us.

We do not sell the data collected by these cookies. We do not transfer it outside the UAE except under the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy §9.

7. Children

We do not knowingly use analytics or marketing cookies for visitors we know to be under 18. If you tell us during signup that a player is a minor, we apply stricter defaults to that account, including disabling marketing identifiers.

8. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add or remove a third-party provider. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and a changelog is at [TO_CONFIRM: URL].

If a change adds a new category of cookie that requires your consent, we will re-prompt you in the banner before the new cookies run.

9. How to contact us

For any question about cookies:

You can also exercise the broader privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy at the same contact.
